ok.. so maybe its been an extremely long time since i last blogged.. but hey! i'm blogging now! ok... lame.. hmmm.. now where do i start? ok.. how bout our band's performance at the VCH?


first was the string. according to my sis and her bf's perfect pitch ears, they were not tunes properly and they played many inferfect notes. also, they attempted to play chords but due to their inaccuracy in each of their notes, the chords were terrible( quoting from my sis ). then was the choir. quoting from my sis again, they where too wanna be. the dancing queen was horrible cause they had dance moves and they shook their bodies and they were like some 4/4 timing and some 6/8 and some 3/4 and it was all off. my sis was being this total meany and was complaining to me about how horrible the choir girls looked like when they shook their boobs. i mean like she cant blame people for having big boobs right? or is she just being jealous that those girls are so 'big' while she's so 'small'. then next was terence's solo.. then was the performance by the nan chiau primary gu zheng emsemble.. the little girls are like so so so cute! i just wanna eat them.. hehe! they are like so tiny and pretty and they are so pro! oh oh! and they had one boy which was so cute! he's like so tiny and he had this pair of glasses on which made him look even cuter! ^^ then the co. according to my sis again.. the solo di zi boy was flat. like i dont understand how my sis' ears can be that good.. like ok... i'm sure her being in choir helps but to this extend? its sort of scary.. so i was saying, the co was rather horrible. they were like playing ten bars again and again for the huang fei hong song.. and then clara and sophie's solo on gu zheng and ruan.. i thought the ruan was rather impressive though.. maybe its cause not many people play the ruan.. or at least not as well as her..



then was our wonderful band.. we played music park, capricious aloysious with koh chee kang on the solo clarinet, and ross roy for the grand finale for the night. for music park.. it was like magical. i gotta give it to joe and his percussions.. they did a great job in creating the atmosphere in the song. but of course the band did very well too! hehe! then capricious aloysious. koh chee kang , as usual, kept shaking and moving his body till he looked like he was gonna fall off the stage. as for his playing, besides for one silent note, he did rather well. and for ross roy!!! woots! we aced it! our first note we came in together and perfectly and hit it really hard and there was like this really nice impact. and it gave us a great start to continue with the song. and like towards the end of the song, the vips at the circle seats all stood up and we had a standing overture!!! woots! how cool is that. and so we ended the night with our wonderful ross roy. and then there was this encore. ok i must make this clear for once and for all. the encore was planned. yes. but it was only the orders of our beloved mr koh chee kang. he told us that we had to do an encore and that we have to find people to help us scream encore. it was his orders. and it was his orders for us to sit down after our last song and wait for the encore! like what the ****! and some people actually blame the band and think that WE planned it... grrr



anyway.. at the end of the concert the band was freakingly high! like it was so wonderful and we dazzled the audience. or at least i hope we did.. woots! and though it was like so long ago.. just by talking about it makes me so 'high' again!!! hehe!! okae.. so i guess thats all then.. catch you all another time!!
